- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Took my 17 month old in because she had severe diarrhea and vomitting and I was told via phone by her pediatrician to get her IV fluids. Dr Stewart saw her and diagnosed her with an ear infection and wanted to send us home. He refused to give her fluids. It didnt sit right with me so I argued with the nurse to speak the the dr again. He came in and realized her labs showed pneumonia in her left lung. He was discharging us before he even had all the lab results back. They transferred us to Cooks childrens in ft worth. I had to request tylenol and Motrin for her after she had a 103 fever while waiting 4 hours to be transported. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILDREN TO THIS HOSPITAL. it was the only one available for us since we were out of town, but next time I'll drive the 2 1/2 and take her to ft worth.November 14, 2017by Kyrstin Garza
